Avenue Supermarts (DMart) Q2 profit rises 4% YoY, revenue up 15.5%

Avenue Supermarts, operator of DMart retail stores, reported a 4% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to ₹685 crore for Q2 FY26, while revenue grew 15.5% to ₹13,557 crore. The company said higher footfall and expanding store network supported sales momentum, although margins remained under pressure due to elevated operating costs and promotional intensity. Analysts noted steady growth in groceries and FMCG segments, with DMart maintaining strong traction in tier-2 and metro markets alike.
