NTPC and the Gujarat government signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on expanding both conventional and renewable energy projects across the state. The partnership focuses on developing large-scale solar, wind, and green hydrogen initiatives while strengthening conventional power infrastructure. Officials said the alliance will help accelerate India’s clean energy transition, support Gujarat’s growing industrial power needs, and attract significant investment toward achieving the country’s long-term net-zero and sustainability goals.
