Gold prices in Chennai continued to show a steady trend today across purity levels. The price of 24 k gold stood at ₹16,256 per gram, while 22 k gold was priced at ₹14,900 per gram. The rate for 18 karat gold, also called 999 gold, was ₹12,750 per gram. Gold rates in Chennai have remained stable since the beginning of the year.
