Vodafone Idea has secured ₹3,300 crore through a privately placed bond issuance, signalling continued access to institutional funding despite ongoing balance sheet stress. The bonds were issued by its wholly owned subsidiary, Vodafone Idea Telecom Infrastructure, and structured into two secured tranches. Tata Capital emerged as the largest investor with a ₹500 crore commitment, while JM Financial Credit Solutions, Aditya Birla Capital and Hero Fincorp invested about ₹400 crore each. Nomura Capital also participated across both tranches.
