Telecom operator Vodafone Idea has raised ₹3,300 crore through a privately placed bond issue, attracting strong participation from large NBFCs, mutual funds and foreign investors. The fundraise was executed via its wholly owned arm, Vodafone Idea Telecom Infrastructure, and structured across two secured tranches. Tata Capital emerged as the largest investor with a ₹500 crore commitment, while JM Financial Credit Solutions, Aditya Birla Capital and Hero Fincorp invested around ₹400 crore each. Nomura Capital also participated across tranches.
