India's mutual fund industry saw an impressive surge in assets under management (AUM) in October, climbing by 5.2% to Rs 13.67 lakh crore . This growth was driven by inflows of Rs 16,668 crore, with gold ETFs taking the lead, attracting Rs 7,743 crore amid global economic uncertainty. Over the past decade, India's mutual fund assets have increased six fold to $635.3 billion , contributing to the growth of the capital markets and providing funding for startups.
