Mutual fund participation in equities rose sharply, doubling investments to ₹43,465 crore in November and contributing to a 1,729 point or 2% rise in the Sensex to 85,707. Debt schemes recorded outflows of ₹72,201 crore compared with the previous ₹12,771 crore as investors shifted toward growth linked allocations. Around 40% of active funds delivered SIP returns above 15% during the year, with another 39% posting between 10% and 15%, i ndicating broad-based performance resilience.
