India’s capital markets regulator SEBI is developing an artificial intelligence powered inspection tool to assess the cyber safety preparedness of regulated financial entities, aiming to strengthen risk-based supervision and investor protection. The system will analyse cyber audit reports, highlight control gaps and categorise entities by risk exposure, SEBI Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey said while outlining new technology priorities.
