U.S. chipmaker Marvell Technology plans a significant India expansion, targeting 15% annual workforce growth over the next three years from its current base of 1,700 employees. Regional head Navin Bishnoi confirmed the strategy while withholding specifics on the increased R&D budget. Marvell’s Bengaluru center functions as its India headquarters, Hyderabad leads security architecture for data centers, and Pune supports embedded development for networking and storage.
Bishnoi noted that India now ranks among the world’s largest data-center markets, with the company holding discussions with hyperscalers and domestic firms to broaden client adoption.
