Sony and TPG Commit Rs 18,000 Crore to Expand HyperVault AI Data Center Unit

Sony has formed a strategic partnership with private equity firm TPG to invest Rs 18,000 crore into HyperVault, its AI-focused data center division. The infusion aims to accelerate expansion in cloud infrastructure, advanced data storage and high-performance computing systems as enterprise demand for AI capabilities grows. HyperVault is expected to scale capacity in multiple regions to support AI workloads across manufacturing, media, financial services and research.
