Indian exchanges pause trading for Christmas holiday
Indian stock and commodity markets remained shut on December 25 for Christmas, with all major trading segments set to resume operations on Friday.
Trading across India’s equity markets remained suspended on December 25 as NSE and BSE observed the Christmas holiday. Activity in equities, derivatives, currency, SLB, and ETFs was halted for the day. Commodity exchanges MCX and NCDEX also remained closed. Normal trading is scheduled to resume on Friday following the midweek pause after markets closed lower on December 24.
