Vedanta’s iron ore subsidiary has reported significant efficiency gains after implementing technology upgrades and smarter operational systems. The company said it has achieved energy savings of nearly 8 million units during FY25 and the current fiscal period so far, driven by in house innovations, digital monitoring tools, and process optimisation across mining operations. Management highlighted that the initiative aligns with Vedanta’s broader sustainability and cost efficiency goals, helping reduce energy intensity while supporting productivity.
