Silver Scales Historic High on MCX as Global Prices Break $75 Barrier

Silver futures surged to a fresh all time high on Friday as strong global cues and sustained buying momentum lifted prices sharply. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the March 2026 silver contract jumped ₹8,951, or nearly 4%, to hit a record ₹2,32,741 per kilogram. The white metal has rallied over 14% since December 18, extending gains for a fifth consecutive session after global silver prices crossed the $75 per ounce mark.
