MCX and NCDEX will remain shut on January 1, 2026, due to a scheduled New Year holiday. Commodity derivatives trading will resume as per the regular exchange timetable from the next session.
Commodity traders planning positions around the New Year should note that MCX and NCDEX will remain closed on January 1, 2026, on account of a scheduled trading holiday. No commodity derivatives or spot contracts will be available for trading during the day. Normal trading activity across commodities is expected to resume from the next trading session, as per exchange calendars.
