Monkey Tree Investment sponsored a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) that priced about 1.6 million shares in a late-December IPO, raising approximately $7 million. The SPAC intends to explore merger opportunities with firms active in fintech, sustainability and innovation sectors. Listings are planned for the week of December 29 as blank-cheque units seek capital deployment targets.
