Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg was detained by British police during a pro-Palestinian demonstration in London’s financial district, according to campaign group Defend Our Juries. The protest took place outside the offices of Aspen Insurance, which reportedly provides coverage for Israeli defence firm Elbit Systems. Police said a 22-year-old woman was arrested for displaying a placard supporting a proscribed organisation under the Terrorism Act. The demonstration highlighted solidarity with imprisoned Palestine Action activists, several of whom are on hunger strike.
