With Christmas being observed on Thursday, December 25, banks across India are closed for the day, leading to confusion among customers planning branch visits. As per the Reserve Bank of India’s holiday calendar , Christmas is a notified public holiday for banks in most states, and branch-based services such as cash withdrawals, cheque deposits, and in person transactions are unavailable.
