The final SpaceX launch of 2025 from Vandenberg Space Force Base has been delayed after a ground systems issue was identified during pre-launch checks. said it stood down from the scheduled Falcon 9 launch to troubleshoot the equipment glitch and has retargeted liftoff for Sunday at 6:08 p.m. local time. The mission will deploy the COSMO-SkyMed Second Generation FM satellite into low Earth orbit, supporting Earth observation and defence requirements for the Italian Space Agency and Italy’s Ministry of Defence.
