The mutual fund industry ’s total assets under management rose to ₹79.62 trillion in October 2025, nearly doubling from ₹39.25 trillion three years ago. This reflects a 26.59% three year CAGR powered by equity led allocations, with flexi cap funds drawing ₹8,929 crore inflows in the last 12 months. Analysts attribute the surge to consistent SIP participation, broad-based earnings recovery, and rising penetration across Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.
