Apollo Micro Systems Ltd moved sharply higher after the defence-focused company announced it had received approval from the Defence Research and Development Organisation to access advanced Directed Energy Weapon technologies. The Hyderabad based firm has secured two separate transfers of technology covering laser-based DEW systems and electro optical tracking systems, subject to prescribed conditions. The approvals allow Apollo Micro Systems to design, manufacture and support key subsystems used in next generation defence applications
