Both the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) will remain closed on Wednesday, 5 November 2025, in observance of Guru Nanak Jayanti. All segments including equities, equity derivatives, currency derivatives and securities-lending will be shut. The holiday means a truncated four-day trading week for Indian markets, with the next scheduled closure being on 25 December for Christmas.
