SEBI proposes ID-disclosure for regulated entities to curb finfluencer risks

SEBI has proposed rules requiring all regulated financial entities to display their name and registration number on social-media channels and every post to help distinguish legitimate firms from unregistered content creators. The regulator said it has flagged over 100,000 misleading finance-related social media posts and plans tighter rules to protect retail investors from false advice and manipulative promotions.
