SAP today announced the launch of its first-generation relational foundation model (RPT-1), designed to predict business outcomes rather than generate language. The new capability is embedded in the SAP HANA Cloud knowledge-graph engine, enabling enterprises to map complex data relationships across systems and automate insights such as delivery delays, payment risk and sales-order completion. SAP is offering a free ‘playground’ environment for developers to test these capabilities, marking a shift from generic AI frameworks to enterprise-specific intelligence.
