Construction Begins on South Delhi Stretch of Metro Phase 4

DMRC has started construction on the Lajpat Nagar–Saket G Block corridor under Phase 4, enhancing South Delhi connectivity through new stations and seamless metro line integration.
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has commenced construction work on the Lajpat Nagar Saket G Block corridor, a key section of Phase 4’s Golden Line. The 8.385 km corridor will include eight stations, improving metro access across South Delhi. The first test pile and ground-breaking ceremony at Pushpa Bhawan marked the formal start of work, attended by senior DMRC leadership and representatives from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited, the executing contractor.
