Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) reported standalone profit after tax of ₹1,286.13 crore for July-September, up 18 % from ₹1,091.27 crore a year ago. Revenue rose 26 % in the same period. The defence-electronics major is benefiting from strengthening order-book and production ramp-up for radar, communication and missile systems. Analysts note the growth highlights improved government spending on defence and localisation of electronics manufacturing.
