Dalmia Bharat Q2 profit rises multifold on better cement demand

Cement major Dalmia Bharat delivered strong Q2 FY26 results: net profit rose sharply, driven by ~11% growth in revenue and ~56% growth in EBITDA. Improved cement realizations and controlled costs helped margins expand. The company also began trial production at its Umrangso clinker line. Stocks gained in the later part of trading as investors welcomed the solid operational showing. Analysts regard this as a positive sign for the cement cycle revival ahead of the festive season.
