Pune-based AI startup VideoVerse has developed ‘Magnifi’, a software-as-a-service platform that enables licensed content creators to automatically identify key moments in sports matches and generate highlight-videos in real time. The technology uses computer-vision and machine-learning to tag player-actions, crowd-response and shot selection, reducing editing-time drastically. It is already used in domestic leagues and the firm plans international rollout next year. The move exemplifies how AI is penetrating media and sport-tech workflows in India.
