IIT Madras launches open startup-ecosystem database ‘Startups for All’

IIT Madras has unveiled its “Startups for All” platform today, a free and paid access database covering 2,75,000 startups, 15,000 angel investors, 5,500 VCs and 1,400 incubators. Developed by its CREST centre in partnership with the incubated firm YNOS, the platform aims to reduce information asymmetry in India’s startup ecosystem and deepen reach beyond metro hubs. Tools include search/analytics, outreach-report generation and deal-flow intelligence. The initiative marks an institutional push to professionalise access to investor-startup networks.
