AI startup ProRata.ai raises 40 million and launches new search tool for publishers

ProRata.ai, a next-generation generative AI startup, has secured US$40 million in a Series B funding round as it introduces its new product ‘Gist Answers’—a tool that allows publishers to embed AI-driven search and summary functionalities directly into their sites. Founder and CEO Bill Gross says the platform empowers publishers to monetise content by providing AI-generated summarisation without using unlicensed third-party content.
