Deep-tech startup Hydgen raises US$5 million to build on-site green-hydrogen solutions

Indian industrial-tech startup Hydgen has secured a pre-Series A funding round of US$5 million via an equity-debt mix, led by Transition Venture Capital along with participation by Cloudberry Pioneer Investments, Moringa Ventures (Singapore) and strategic family-offices in India and Singapore. Hydgen focuses on delivering on-site green hydrogen solutions for industrial clients, aligning with India’s push on decarbonising heavy industry. The company plans to scale deployment and reach commercial pilots over the next 12-18 months.
