Top mutual-fund CIOs warn of elevated valuations and uncertain global risks, but remain positive on SIP growth in India.
At the Business Standard BFSI Summit 2025, mutual-fund industry CIOs advised investors to stay disciplined as global liquidity remains high but valuations are elevated and external risks persist. They highlighted limited mid- and small-cap supply, rising costs and policy uncertainty as headwinds. The executives also said systematic investment plan (SIP) sizes in India could rise from the current ₹3,000 to ₹5,000 in next 3-4 years as asset-class maturity increases.
