Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi stated that Japan will not seek to renegotiate a previously agreed US$550 billion investment package with the United States. The assurance came during the APEC summit and aims to stabilise economic ties between the two countries amid broader regional uncertainty. The deal spans infrastructure, technology, supply-chains and advanced manufacturing over the next decade.
