Indian services exports grow 14.8% CAGR; country now ranks 7th globally, says NSE

According to the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE), India’s services-exports industry has grown at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 14.8% over the past three decades, surpassing the goods exports CAGR of roughly 9.8%. India currently holds approximately 4.3% share of global services trade and ranks seventh worldwide. Telecom, IT and business-process services account for nearly 75% of the total services export basket. With over 1,700 Global Capability Centres (GCCs) established and plans to scale to 2,200 by 2030, the services sector is emerging as a structural growth engine for the economy.
