Hindustan Zinc Q2 net rises 14% as silver boost margins

Hindustan Zinc’s consolidated net profit for Q2 rose ~14% YoY to ₹2,649 crore, supported by soaring silver prices which contributed nearly 40% to earnings. Zinc operations also held up, with revenue climbing ~3.6%. The company’s outperformance in the metals space helped the stock rally into the close despite pressure elsewhere.
