IBM Fusion and NVIDIA deploy agentic-AI platform at UT Southwestern for large-scale training and inference.
IBM today announced that its IBM Fusion platform, combined with NVIDIA’s AI Data Platform reference design, has been deployed at UT Southwestern Medical Center for large-scale training and inference. The implementation uses NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell servers, networking and AI-enterprise software to process unstructured and semi-structured data for AI-agent workflows, including patient-avatar simulations and drug-discovery modelling. The rollout signals further enterprise adoption of ‘agentic-AI’ and deeper enterprise-AI infrastructure investment.
