OpenAI, Oracle and Related to build 1-gigawatt Stargate data-centre campus

OpenAI, Oracle and Related Digital announced plans to build a more than 1-gigawatt data-centre campus in Saline Township, Michigan, part of a push to expand U.S. AI infrastructure capacity. The large campus will host compute and storage for advancing foundation-model training and enterprise deployments. Officials say the project aims to address the acute demand for power-dense AI facilities while providing local economic benefits through construction and operations jobs.
