According to a recent report by Grant Thornton Bharat LLP, India’s technology-sector mergers and acquisitions rose 33 % quarter-on-quarter in Q3 2025, driven by deals in AI, SaaS and automation firms. The report shows 80 total deal-count with deal values reaching US$1.48 billion—more than five-fold jump in high-value (> US$50 m) deals compared with the prior quarter. Private equity and VC deals also rose strongly, with 50 deals totalling US$584 million in Q3. Analysts say this marks a shift from volume to value in India’s tech-deal ecosystem.
