Eyewear retailer Lenskart filed draft papers for a ₹7,300 crore initial public offering at a valuation of roughly ₹70,000 crore (US$8.4 billion). Backed by Temasek and Fidelity, the offer includes a partial exit by SoftBank worth ₹1,025 crore. Premji Invest and KKR will retain majority holdings. The funds will be used for retail expansion and omni-channel technology. Analysts expect high subscription interest given strong profitability metrics and online traction. The IPO opens October 31 and will list on both NSE and BSE exchanges.
