Avaada Electro filed a DRHP to raise ₹10,000 crore for solar capacity expansion to 10 GW and green-hydrogen projects, marking India’s largest renewable-energy IPO of 2025.
Avaada Electro, the renewable-energy arm of Avaada Group, has filed a draft red herring prospectus with SEBI to raise ₹9,000 – 10,000 crore via an initial public offering. Proceeds will be used to expand its solar-module manufacturing capacity from 3 GW to 10 GW and invest in green hydrogen projects. This marks one of India’s largest renewable IPOs in 2025. The issue will comprise a fresh issue and offer for sale by existing shareholders, including Brookfield Renewables.
