The Saudi government announced a sweeping artificial-intelligence strategy under Vision 2030, including construction of 6 gigawatts of new data-center capacity and rollout of a proprietary AI operating system. Partnerships with Huawei, Oracle, and NVIDIA will accelerate regional cloud-computing capabilities. Officials expect the initiative to generate 25,000 technical jobs and attract more than $25 billion in international investment. The plan strengthens Saudi Arabia’s ambition to become the Middle East’s primary AI hub and reduce dependence on imported digital infrastructure by 2026.
