Brandworks closes $4 million round to build AI hardware stack in India

Indian electronics manufacturing startup Brandworks Technologies has raised $4 million (approximately ₹38 crore) as part of its extended Series A funding led by Roha Family Office. The firm had previously raised $7 million in August and has now closed its Series A at $11 million (around ₹97 crore). Brandworks develops AI-hardware components such as custom AI accelerators and system-on-chips for edge applications. 

The new capital will be deployed to scale manufacturing, launch pilot production and form design partnerships. The raise reinforces the Indian embedded-hardware ecosystem amid global chip sovereignty trends.
