IIMA Ventures, Jaivel Aerospace launch fund for defence startups

IIMA Ventures and Gujarat’s Jaivel Aerospace have established a dedicated fund to support early-stage aerospace and defence technology startups. The fund aims to back innovations in avionics, propulsion, secure communications, and unmanned systems. It offers financial capital, mentorship, and strategic assistance to entrepreneurs developing critical capabilities for India’s defence ecosystem. In doing so, it underlines strategic priority and private backing for self-reliant defence innovation.
